Upcoming Workshops

Law is inherently demanding—fast-moving, high-stakes, and often emotionally charged—but I’ve come to notice how much of its difficulty is compounded not just by the work itself, but by the ways we respond to it.

Every year around the end of August, I have the same thought: Happy New Year.

Workplace harm continues to be far from an isolated experience in the legal profession. A recent survey conducted by the Law Society of British Columbia found that nearly half of respondents reported experiencing bullying during their careers, while almost 80% reported experiencing at least one form of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, or bullying.

We all worry. It’s a fundamental part of the human condition. World events (especially these days) give us no shortage of things to be concerned about in addition to our mountain of typical life concerns–our jobs, our families, our finances. There’s always something.
